Islamic lifestyle and culture is a very important aspect of a Muslim society, as it is the expression of a strong belief and worldview in the form of art, education, law, customs and morals.

Field trips (or farhangi activities) complement the classes through the visit of various museums, institutions and art places, so as to experience, in a very enjoyable and pleasant way, that which is taught in the classroom, guiding us towards building the Islamic lifestyle and culture. .

‘Farhangi activities’ is one terminology that you might hear often during the course. Farhang, in the sense that it is used by contemporary scholars and Islamic leaders, can be roughly translated as “culture” or “lifestyle”. It is that complex whole which includes knowledge, belief, art, morals, law, custom and any other capabilities and habits acquired by man as a member of society. In some of these activities and places you shall visit, you shall become further acquainted with the ‘Islamic Farhang’, realize the differences between a materialistic and spiritual way of life, and understand the principles and aspects of a God-fearing society.
